What is PikaTwists AI?
PikaTwists is a feature that allows you to modify the first 5 seconds of an existing video using a text prompt. Rather than creating an entire video from scratch, you upload a short clip (at least 5 seconds long), and then guide PikaTwist with a prompt describing the change you want to make.
It doesn’t recreate the whole video or generate unpredictable results across a long timeline. Instead, it updates just a small, focused portion, which gives more control and often leads to better outcomes.

Examples of Pikatwists in Action
1. The Red Balloon Transformation
Original: A person standing in a room.
Prompt: “The person's head transforms into a red balloon and floats away out of the frame.”
Result: The head smoothly morphs into a red balloon and starts floating upwards, eventually leaving the frame.
Verdict: 8/10. The transformation is smooth, but the balloon's movement could be more natural.
2. The Fire Engulfed Coffee Sip
Original: A man standing in a room.
Prompt: “The man sits down on a chair and sips coffee as the entire scene is entirely engulfed by fire all around him, he is barely visible through the flames.”
Result: The man sits down and starts sipping coffee. Flames start appearing and gradually engulf the entire scene, making the man barely visible.
Verdict: 9/10. The flames look realistic, but the man's movement could be more fluid.
3. The Owl Book Emergence
Original: A book lying on a table.
Prompt: “An owl comes out of the book and stays over it.”
Result: An owl appears from the book and perches on top of it. The owl's emergence is smooth, but it looks a bit static once it's out.
Verdict: 7/10. The owl's emergence is well done, but it could use more animation once it's out.
4. The Teddy Bear Transformation
Original: A teddy bear sitting on a table.
Prompt: “Teddy Bear transforms into a real baby bear and starts walking towards the camera.”
Result: The teddy bear transforms into a baby bear, which then starts walking towards the camera. The transformation is smooth, but the bear's walk could be more natural.
Verdict: 8/10. The transformation is well done, but the bear's walk could be improved.
5. The Surprised Statue
Original: A statue standing in a park.
Prompt: “The statue scratches their head, smiles looks left and right in awe and as their hand moves away a surprise face tattoo fades in across their cheek.”
Result: The statue comes to life, scratching its head and smiling. It looks left and right in awe, and as its hand moves away, a surprise face tattoo fades in across its cheek.
Verdict: 9/10. The statue's movements are well animated, but the tattoo could fade in more smoothly.
